Decasia

I thought that Bill Morrison's film Decasia was overall very profound. It was erie and bizarre, especially the parts involving children and nuns. The idea of the film was incredibly unique, and I thoroughly enjoyed the various ways the film was decaying. The music worked very well with the film and really tied everything together perfectly. I had a hard time trying to watch the Decasia in it's entirety because my eyes are very sensitive to flashing busy lights and I get terrible migraines too often. I don't think we should have watched the whole thing in one sitting because it was a lot to take in and agitated my eyes badly. It would have been nice to watch it in segments so that we then could have talked about different aspects and would have noticed more that way.
